What we built
Astrologi is a Vedic astrology platform where the astronomy is done properly. Most astrology websites call an external service for planetary positions, or use approximations that drift by degrees. We compute everything ourselves, from published planetary theory.

How we tested it
An automated test suite checks the engine against sources that have nothing to do with our code — textbook worked examples and real astronomical events.
- Moon position, Meeus Example 47.a — exact to six decimal places
- Sun position, Meeus Example 25.b — within 0.26 arcseconds
- Jupiter-Saturn great conjunction, 21 December 2020 — both planets at 300 degrees 29 minutes
- Total solar eclipse, 8 April 2024 — correct to the minute
- Sunrise and sunset, London and New York — correct to the minute
That suite has already caught a real defect: a wrong coefficient that was placing Mercury 1.66 degrees out of position. It was found and fixed before anyone saw a wrong chart.
Why it is free
The site is funded by advertising. We do not sell readings, remedies or gemstones, and we do not sell your data. Advertising means the calculators stay open to everyone, including people who would never pay for a chart.
Where we stand
We separate the astronomy from the interpretation, and we say so on every page. The positions are verifiable and we stand behind them. The meanings are a living tradition worth engaging with — but they are tradition, not prediction, and we will never tell you otherwise to make a sale.
