Two different things on one page
Every chart on this site contains two kinds of statement, and it matters that you can tell them apart.
The astronomy is verifiable
Planetary longitudes, nakshatra positions, sunrise and sunset times, tithi and yoga — these are computed from established planetary theory. They agree with published astronomical reference values to within about one arcsecond. If you check them against any standard ephemeris, they will match. We stand behind these numbers.
The interpretation is tradition
What a placement "means" — that Saturn in a certain house indicates one thing, that a yoga confers another — comes from classical Jyotish literature written over many centuries. Different schools disagree. There is no scientific evidence that planetary positions influence human affairs.
We present these readings because they are a living tradition that many people find meaningful. We do not present them as facts about your future.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. For health, see a doctor. For legal matters, see a lawyer. For money, see a licensed adviser. For emotional distress, please speak to a qualified professional.
No guarantees, no remedies for sale
We do not promise outcomes. We do not sell remedies, poojas, yantras or protection from doshas. If any site tells you that a payment will change your fate, treat that with caution.
Gemstones
Gemstone suggestions are traditional associations, not prescriptions. Consult an experienced astrologer before purchasing an expensive stone, and never use a gemstone in place of medical treatment.
Accuracy depends on your input
A birth time that is off by two hours changes the ascendant sign entirely. We have no way to detect a wrong input. Please use a birth certificate or hospital record where you can.
Use your own judgement
Read what you find here as one perspective among many. Major life decisions deserve more than a chart — they deserve your own thinking, the counsel of people who know you, and where relevant, a qualified professional.
