1. What this site is
Astrologi provides Vedic astrology calculations — birth charts, panchang, matching, dasha periods and related tools — computed from astronomical data, together with interpretive content drawn from classical Jyotish texts.
2. What this site is not
This is the most important clause on the page, so it is stated plainly:
- Nothing here is medical advice. If you have a health concern, see a doctor.
- Nothing here is legal advice. If you have a legal problem, see a lawyer.
- Nothing here is financial or investment advice. If you are making a financial decision, consult a licensed adviser.
- Nothing here is psychological or psychiatric treatment. If you are in distress, please speak to a qualified professional or a helpline.
- Nothing here guarantees an outcome. Astrological interpretation is a traditional practice, not a predictive science, and we make no promises about what will happen in your life.
3. Accuracy of calculations
We stand behind the astronomy. Planetary positions are computed from established planetary theory and agree with published astronomical reference values to within about one arcsecond. You can verify any position against any standard ephemeris.
The accuracy of your chart, however, depends on the accuracy of what you enter. A birth time that is wrong by two hours will produce a different ascendant, and we cannot detect that. Please use the time on the birth certificate or hospital record where possible.
4. Interpretation is tradition
The meanings attached to placements, yogas, doshas and dasha periods come from classical Jyotish literature. Different schools disagree with each other. We present one reading; treat it as a lens for reflection, not a statement of fact about your life.
5. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
- Do not create an account for someone else without their knowledge.
- We may suspend an account that is used for abuse, automated scraping, or attempts to compromise the site.
6. Acceptable use
You may not: scrape the site at scale, attempt to bypass rate limits, probe for vulnerabilities, upload malicious content, impersonate others, or use the site to harass anyone.
You may freely use the charts you generate for your own purposes, including sharing them.
7. Intellectual property
The software, design, written interpretations and layout of this site belong to Astrologi. Astronomical facts and classical Jyotish principles belong to no one and are freely usable.

8. Advertising
This site carries advertising. Advertisements are marked. We do not endorse advertised products, and a purchase from an advertiser is a matter between you and them.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or withdraw features.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Astrologi is not liable for any loss arising from decisions you make on the basis of content on this site. Because the service is provided free of charge, our total liability in any circumstance is limited to any amount you have actually paid us, which is normally nothing.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction.

13. Paid plans
Some features are available on a paid plan. Prices, billing periods and what each plan includes are shown on the plans page before you pay.
- A paid plan requires an account, so that an invoice can be issued and a refund can be made.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You are notified before each renewal and can turn renewal off at any time from your account.
- Cancelling stops future charges. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
- We may change prices. An existing subscription is not repriced mid-period, and you will be told before a renewal at a new price.
14. Usage limits
Every plan, including the free one, has limits on how many calculations can be run in a given period. The limits are published on the plans page and shown in your account. They exist so that automated use does not degrade the service for everyone else; ordinary personal use does not come close to them.
We may suspend an account that circumvents these limits, and will refund any unused portion of a paid period if we do.
15. Payments and security
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not receive or store your card number, CVV or bank credentials at any point. We keep a record of each payment: the amount, the date, the provider's reference and whether it succeeded.
If money leaves your account and your plan does not activate, contact us with the reference and we will trace it. Nothing charged in error is retained.
